Hiiii! I'm fairly new to knitting and crocheting, but I second Everia's post that natural yarns feel very nice! I am currently using cotton merino for my summer tops, and a blend of cotton/linen for my summer pullovers. Recycled cotton is also surprisingly good and not as rough as imagined. I use it for beachwear stuff~~

i prefer natural yarns - 100% wool or pure animal fiber - of course, some wools are itchier than others, so you have your pick like merino, BFL, yak, cashmere, etc.

For knitting i prefer wool or alpaca and for crochet i prefer cotton

I’m boring and love 100% cotton, because it’s easy to work with, easy on my fingers even for long-term projects, and just generally wears and lasts extremely well, even with machine washing.
