I prefer working on sweaters/hats during the colder months, so right now I'd suggest a nice mohair (maybe paired and worked together with a soft wool) for a cozy feel, or a chunky merino wool which will keep you warm all winter long. Hiiii! I'm fairly new to knitting and crocheting, but I second Everia's post that natural yarns feel very nice! I am currently using cotton merino for my summer tops, and a blend of cotton/linen for my summer pullovers. Recycled cotton is also surprisingly good and not as rough as imagined. I use it for beachwear stuff~~

i prefer natural yarns - 100% wool or pure animal fiber - of course, some wools are itchier than others, so you have your pick like merino, BFL, yak, cashmere, etc.

I knit and crochet ( amigurumi) a lot.

I prefer wool or wool blends. I feel like I can’t get even tension with cotton or flax. Right now I’m knitting a blouse in Isager Silk mohair and it’s quite lovely!
