Best book for knitting beginners?
I learned knitting from youtube videos and craft sites, but lately I've been instructing others on how to knit. Does anyone have any recommendations for a comprehensive book that takes care of all the basics? To be clear, I'm asking for a book that I could just refer a beginner to, without fear that they would be confused or overwhelmed I like to lean knitting too . Search in pindy knitting section for what you need. Edited by MissPriss at 2023-11-29 03:42Youtube is going to be a better resource for a beginner knitter than any book, but it may be helpful to have a reference book just so they have a bunch of knitting terminology they can use to aid in searching youtube.
That said, I don't have any book I'd point to as a solid reference for a beginner knitter. It may exist, but I haven't seen it. :( I think you'd be better off trying to find a good youtube video explaining how to read a pattern, and showing how to search youtube for what you need when a pattern or technique gets confusing.
