I use bobbins in 4 large plastic bobbin boxes, with 6 colors per section in the box, and when there's only 2 or 3 colors in that section I use spare plasic or card bobbins to stop them falling over, was a pain to wind all the floss at first but once you have it organised then it's easy to keep track of what you need to replace when the time comes and very easy to find your Color you need too

I use some cases made for storing nails and bolts, etc with clear drawers.I put a sticker with the thread number (or number family ex: 300's, 400's) on the front of the drawer.Maybe I have to search a little, but for me it's the easiest.
