pointed or blunt needles?
which do you prefer for stiching in linen?i love how easy the pointed goes in, but hate how many times i stick myself! I usually use the blunt ones except when I am working on aida cloth and there are quarter stitches to do. Blunt.I have tried the ball tip ones, and didnt like them though. I like blunt needles, they don't accidentally split the thread of the fabric Ago smussato su consiglio di mia nonna che mi ha insegnato a ricamare я люблю вышивать тупой иголочкой, но бэкстич удобнее делать острой Very nice! Beautiful! Thank you very much for sharing !!!Thank you so much Perhaps you should look into getting a thimble? Just a thought. huh, the sharp needles are for quilting!!, and the blunt ones for cross stitch. i would suggest you swop these, or you will hurt your fingertips badly each time you stitch. I prefer blunt needles, as long as I don't need a pointed one for an specific type of stitching Blunt needles and I really like the Bohin Needles. I usually use the blunt ones except when I am working on aida cloth and there are quarter stitches to do. Then I use the sharp ones. I also use the blunt one, but for the fraction stitches I used the sharp one.. I only would suggest blunt needles for crossstitch, sharp needles for quilting and sewing. I use alway's blunt needles for crossstitch. I would never use sharps for cross stitch, especially when using wool, it splits the threads too much
