I've been using a ball winder, but I've noticed that I've been getting a lot of twist when I pull from the centre. I need to try using a nosterpin and see if there's a difference.

I just unravel the yarn from its "factory" winding and make it into a ball with my hand. I don't have a fancy winder or anything.
