I like the center

micky2be Publish time 2021-8-7 23:15

Top left, always

Jodi1224 Publish time 2021-8-14 00:33

I have always started in the middle, as that is how I was taught. However, I have noticed that when my friend starts in the top left, she can preserve a lot of fabric in the end.

hmm, depends on the pattern - but I mostly go from anywhere. I don´t have a certain point to start

Veria Publish time 2021-9-25 20:51

I prefer moving from bottom to top of the pattern

Xsandohs Publish time 2021-9-29 15:03

Middle on complex patterns usually. Upper left on others

I try to hold the rule "move against half stitches move". I like to make half stitches from left bottom to right top, so I start the chart from right top. To stitch from empty to filled. It feels strange because natural for us is while stitching to move as a book reading move.
