attaching hair by stitching to amigurumis
I have a problem in attaching hair to amigurumis.Seems that when I added a stitch, the head seems so squished on the area where I sew on because I'm trying to make a ponytail. It seems so hard to everything into 1 hole to make the ponytail look. I'm getting discourage with my work.Any advice?I simply use a slightly larger hook and make a copy of the first part of the head up to where the ears would go approx. then fit it on the doll like a hat and stitch it all around the edge so it fits like a natural hairline. Then I hook the hair through the cap stitches, rather than directly onto the head stitches. static/image/common/user_online.gif David g static/image/common/clock.gif 2016-11-10 08:54

Y reccomend tips from tiktok crochet channels Gracias por las ideas !!!! interesting, thanks thank you very much Thank you very much! Thanks for sharing I make a hair cap.Crochet the same pattern as for the head until it´s the size of a natural hairline in the hair yarn, but use a bigger hook. Sew the cap onto the head and then use the stitches of the the cap, rather than the head for adding the hair.Hope this makes sense.I did this for these fairies - https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfp1/t31.0-8/p600x600/11160051_631974013568938_6941887575803812918_o.jpg static/image/common/user_online.gif landlady static/image/common/clock.gif 2015-4-21 22:03 static/image/common/back.gif

Thanks for advice.Do you stitch the yarn or use the hook?I was doing hatsune miku pattern which sews the yarn directly into the head and I made a awful squished head.Don't know how they do it.I look at the youtube tutorial and they sew in directly into the head too.
