I would like to know as well and who is translating them because there's a lot of patterns that have the Russian version on this site but not the English. lol.
It can be both, sometimes it's just Russian speakers translation from an English pattern but often times it's just an online translator and not a very good one either..

the question is---- who translated this is it software translation or from a native speaker ??
It can be both, sometimes it's just Russian speakers translation from an English pattern but often times it's just an online translator and not a very good one either..
In Russia there are many communities that are engaged in translating patterns from English into Russian and post these translations on their resources. Participants from Russia have a carload of such patterns. To earn coins they upload them here. The phrase Translation Russian means that the diagram is in Russian, translated from English.
The translation is usually literate, although occasionally it is automatic.
In Russia, as a rule, they know English very poorly, so the English versions are unpopular there and everyone is waiting for the patterns to be translated for them.
The trouble with such patterns is that there are many errors in the description of the knitting steps. They may write a blind stitch instead of a single crochet stitch, or skip a row, or write the total amount of stitches incorrectly.
Therefore, even if it is not a problem for you to translate from Russian into English, it is better not to download them. It's better to look for the original.
