I noticed that some recent items on my iBooks page disappear randomly on their own, even though I have not deleted them myself--is it only me,or is there a glitch? Also, is it possible to recover these items?

You accidentally clicked "delete". Especially if you log in from your phone. This function is so implicit that I very often clicked on it by accident.
