It happens with both Windows and IOS operating systems. However, it only affects files that are larger than 30 MB. A refresh with F5 or Shift+F5 was not successful at all for me. I've had this problem a few times now.
It happens with both Windows and IOS operating systems.
However, it only affects files that are larger than 30 MB.
A refresh with F5 or Shift+F5 was not successful at all for me. It takes longer with Firefox and Windows than with Safari or Brave on IOS.
I finally managed it with Chrome for Windows after several attempts.

Trying again and again is the only solution.
It is not lost. You can always go back to iBooks and try again. It “only” takes patience.
