I think this could be easily solved going forward by having a dark drop shadow or outline on white text - that way if the code overlays a white part of the video, it can still be clearly read.

I feel like the old way of showing the code was better. Mint colored text on a black rectangle so its very clearly obvious no matter what is going on in the video.
