I'm not sure if what I'm doing is right but I do dc and hdc with yarn over, not yarn under and it looks just fine! For the decrease, since I'm using invisible decrease I use yarn under just like the single crochet (the step is pick up front loops of the next two stitch, yarn under, pull through, yarn over, and pull through again), the result is almost invisible when you're decreasing, hope this helps! :) [useip] => 202.162.193.203 [port] => 15432 [invisible] => 0 [anonymous] => 0 [usesig] => 0 [htmlon] => 0 [bbcodeoff] => -1 [smileyoff] => 0 [parseurloff] => 0 [attachment] => 0 [rate] => 4 [ratetimes] => 1 [status] => 0 [tags] => [comment] => 1 [replycredit] => 0 [position] => 2 ) [3] => Array ( [pid] => 46211216 [fid] => 319 [tid] => 613434 [first] => 0 [author] => Zlatozvjeta [authorid] => 283968 [subject] => [dateline] => 1710501279 [message] => WoW!!! Hello,
After a lot of works with V stitches, I'm doing my first amigurumi with X stitches. For the X single crochet it's okay, but I'm not sure if I have to yarn under for a decrease or a double crochet too..?
Thank you!

I used to do v stitch too, but I've been making several amigurumi with x stitch recently, especially for those patterns that recommends people to use x stitch.
