I learned to crochet, first (I was four years old and in hospital with asthma). My granny taught me to chain first and then I started making scarves for everyone's teddies. Within a few years I was making clothes and blankets for the toys (I was bad asthmatic and was often in hospital) and then I started making amigurumi in my early teens. I crochet every day and my friiend Zara and I have made a challenge this year of making one toy a month which is the same. At the end of the year, we will gift all twelve toys to a charity near to us. If anyone would like to join in, they are welcome! My favorite crafts are knitting and spinning.  A close second is watercolour painting.  To be honest i like weaving, macrame, drawing, and beading too.  There are not too many crafts that I don't like, but Crochet for me is farther down the list.
