Cannot open PCS (PCstitch file)

Please have users who post PCS (pat) files say what version the pattern was used to create the pattern.  I usually have no problems with any patterns - I bought the PCstitch program and have had it for years and update it regularly.   If I had known this information, I would have never attempted a download.  ( I downloaded the xsd version in case the patterns were not listed correctly and do not have that program so could not open that one either).  All these credits lost because of not being able to download a PCstitch file.  What a shame.

You can find the program to open XSD files, PatternMaker and other usful software on the board here;

I like your idea for poster to mention what version on PCStitch is used for repaints. I always do my repaints in PCStitch 7 so most will have no issue opening unless they have a very old version.
