Esta hermosa reliquia, que es una combinación de un panel central de punto bobo simple rodeado por un borde de punto brioche de dos colores en contraste, sería un gran regalo para un bebé recién nacido o se vería igualmente hermosa sobre su hombro o regazo. Aunque fue diseñado como una manta, también sería un hermoso chal doblado. ¿Por qué llamé a este chal un hap? Los haps son chales que tradicionalmente usaban las mujeres de Shetland para mantenerse calientes mientras hacían ejercicio en las islas frías y ventosas; la palabra hap significa cubrir, envolver o mantener caliente.
