Welcome! I understand feeling shy, I'm the same and mostly a lurker on other websites, but here people don't mind getting lots of replies on posts. I mostly leave comments on patterns I like or posts of other people's work, which gets you 10 coins for each reply. There's also the hourly/daily tasks you can use to earn coins but you've probably already seen that in the links others have provided. You can also share images of your work, share patterns, or make other types of threads. Threads give you more coins and contribute to your credits more than replies do, but you can definitely still rank up and earn lots of coins without making many threads! If you have any more questions I don't mind trying to answer any
