you can also make a row counter out off stitch markers. make a little chain by putting them together. works best if not to long. i use one for decreses in sleeves and sometimes for cables
I use two different kinds of row counters. I use my needle row counter, with a few beads to make something similar to the picture below, as well as making an abakus type row counter
I bought a lot of these row counters. Different. Both cheap and expensive. And I couldn’t use anything. It’s inconvenient for me, it gets in the way, it kills all the pleasure from crocheting. In my opinion, a phone app is the best option.
wow that's a good idea but I wonder how you would go around with smaller rows. it can be handful for that. but great idea for the blanket&cardigan projects. btw this is called zikirmatik which is for praying for muslims
Nice! I have a Clover clicker, but that only goes up to row 99. On the upside, it doesn't run out of battery...and it makes just the most satisfying noise when increasing the count.
I like the clicky row counter but mainly find it useful for counting "plain" rows/rounds. If there are a set of repeats, I find it easier to use graph paper and mark off boxes.
