To start with, do you knit and do you want to get hold of a knit pattern and make a crochet pattern out of it?  As others have mentioned, it's not as easy as that.  Yes it can be done but it's a lot of work  because crochet and knit stitches are different and drape differently. So unless you are an expert in both crochet and knitting and also a maths whizz plus hour upon hour of testing (years even) it's not worth your time.  Just crochet or knit pattern.

Your next quote is KNIT LOOK CROCHET,  it is eaxcly what it says it is.  Crochet that LOOKS knitted, it has nothing to do with knitting but everything to do with special crochet stitches used to make item look knitted.
