Hook: 3mm
Yarn: RH Boutique Unforgettable Petunia for the Cardigan
RH Soft Solids & Heathers Heather Gray for the Bunny
Bernat Softee Baby Chunky Pale Antique Rose for the nose and inside ears.
Sewed in yarn as a place marker for buttons ordered for the eyes & cardigan.
In order to have the body fit the cardigan I made beforehand cause I could not wait to give it a go with a new stitch (insert co-htr), I had to add a couple of rows to the body's middle section.
I did not stuff the arms or the legs except for the feet on the legs. With the cardigan arms...don't be in a hurry like me to see what its going to look like & use your hook to weave in the yarn to connect the arm seams. makes it too thick...use your darning needle & do it the right way.
I plan to include whiskers and finish making its tail.
First time crocheting a rabbit, not sure I'm crazy about it, but this one is one of the better ones in the look that I was going for to add to my guest room bed decore. Love the way the ears stand up without any wires at all. I'm now torn between the knitted versions out there and this one. Have a knitted one that I want to make this cardigan for.
