A nice toque worked in the round, bottom up. A folded ribbed brim leads to cable and seed stitch panels, inspired by trees and oceans. This hat was designed for my friend Ben, who loves trees and oceans. Chart is provided for main body of hat, but decreases are somewhat winged and sparse in instruction. The basic gist of it is to decrease from outside in from the knit-tbl borders on either side of the panels. First decrease cabled panels to form the tops of the trees, then decrease seed stitch panels. Please comment or question if you have trouble! Takes one skein of Cascade 220, with some leftover. Block hat after finished.
