I've been doing a knitted-on I-cord and I don't notice any loose stitches. Maybe try giving a little tug on the yarn?

I have that problem too, but never searched for a solution.   Sometimes I think I should get a wooden thread spool and put nails on it.   I can't remember the name of  it, but it makes fabulous cords.   Oooh, it's a Knitting nancy or a spool knitter!

Thank you, Lucy!  That did the trick along with a slight tug after each row.  Now to see if it helps when I try to work i cord borders on the body of the hat!

What's an I-cord?

It's literally a round cord made up of 4 knitted stitches(can be more or less). It can be knitted onto your proj as you go for a finish edge or can be a loose cord for any project you have in mind  Post time 2021-5-22 02:58
