I have an unusual problem. I've started HAED. Which made me to buy many needles. Also, I have different sizes (24,26 and 28). So, I have a question: how to storage needles without destroying them? I tried something like pin cushion, but my needles started to look funny (and useless to stitch).
these are great ideas, thank you for sharing, i put mine in small plastic bags but got sick of stabbing my fingers when trying to pull them out of storage
I leave mine in the original packaging until I need one. If I have extras I stick them in packing foam from electronic purchases. I cut the foam down to size, it's heavy enough to stand and they are within arms reach. I too use varying sizes, the larger sizes I use as marking pins for the ends of blocks or where I am to go after the stitch I'm currently working is completed. I only use 28's to stitch with, but the others are great to hold floss and mark areas.
