Clover for me but I've only tried a cheap set, an ergonomic light up one and then clover ones. Clovers win for sure.

I haven't noticed any major difference in the different crochet hooks I've used over the years. Right now I'm using a gripped set I got from walmart, but I don't feel like they're particularly better or worse than any others I've used in the past. Perhaps I need to try a larger variety of types?
