I'm thinking of buying a loom to weave scarves with fingering and lace weight yarns.   Does anyone here have any experience  with this?   I'm still trying to figure out what kind of loom:)?

I started by making a frame loom from an old stretcher frame.  I looked up on you tube how to do it.  I want to practice on this inexpensive loom with my scrap yarn and then move up to a rigid heddle.  I talked to Christine at GIST: Yarn and Fiber who was very helpful in giving me tips on how to chose my first loom.  They are in the USA.  I was also looking for a weavers forum to talk to other beginners to share experiences.

Here is a pic of my very first weaving project.  I bought my self a Beka 24" rigid heddle loom and joined a few Rigid Heddle Loom FB pages and learnt a lot of things before I started.
