i find it less stressful to make things for strangers. i don't have to see if they like it or not. or if they will actually use what i have spent so much of my time on. i made a beautiful sweater for my one son. it is in a draw under everything else. most of the things i have made for friends and family don't get used.

Ohh wow, that's a shame (englisch is not my first language, sorry for not putting up good lines) Ik make almost everything for charity in the Netherland and Belgium and i do agree with you that it is less stressfull making things for other people than your own family or the ones close by you :-)
