Hello all,

I'm (hopefully!) about to undergo a new project series, and I have a quick question.

Do I need to pre-wash my DMC embroidery thread before starting?  And, if so, what is the best way to do so?

Any and All advice wanted and apprecaited!  <3

I've never prewashed my DMC threads and haven't had a problem.  I have never used a bright red which I heard can run so you should prewash

I never pre-wash my threads
but I have bad experience with DMC 666,
during the stitching with 666 ,
the thread has coloured the fabric red

In another forum I found a test done by a stitcher: she put a small sample embroidered with DMC in bleach and color resisted very well (it was blue, I don't remember the number), so I think DMC quality is very good and I dont't think I need pre-wash thread.
