In folders using the firm's/designer's name and into it I made theme folders - toys, autumn, animals e t.c. All files named like that: designer's name_scheme name_scheme number.

I do thematically in folders (knit/hat, knit/christmas etc)

But honestly, my favorites are printed and put into a folder.  There aren't many in my favorites folder that are printed.  I figure if the SHTF and power was out... I would have the most important (to me).

I probably have more patterns then I can stitch in a lifetime, but I always organize them in folders. Even if it’s going to take a long time. Do a bit at a time and don’t worry if you don’t finish it in one sitting. Take your time.
