How to get the best from metallic threads

Great tips but I have learned to just avoid metallics wherever I can. They are a nuisance but do look nice if you have the patience.

Thread heaven works wonders on metallic thread! I use it on all my threads, actually. :)

I use "Thread Heaven", not only for metallic but sometimes also for the normal floss.
