I got it all unlocked and downloaded.  I went to "open" a file I had been working on in PC 10, it is a .PAT file and it said it can't open it, it can't import or anything, it doesn't recognize the file type?

I'm currently using PCStitch 8 and I'm wondering what everyone's opinion is ... is it worth upgrading to 9 or 10?  Are there any "must have" features in the newer versions?  I have heard that there are some compatibility issues, especially with PCS 10 in that files created with PCS 10 cannot be opened by anything else, even earlier versions of PCS!  It looks like sassypants may have run into this problem (two posts above).  Anyhow, if anyone has an opinion on this, I'd love to hear it!  :)
