    I don't buy a lot from online. I keep in contact with a group called sewitall who stock fabrics which are good quaility and a pretty good price, but i usually only buy from them during shows, i like to look at stuff like that before i purchase.     Tell me bout it! I've got all the mira charts atm, and i started mermaids of the deep blue, and thought i'd be smart and dye some white adia blue to make it look better...so didnt work as well as i'd like!

oh no, what happened? tell me all the gruesome details...what fabric paint did you use? how long did you soak it for? how hot was the water? did you add salt to fix the paint? were you aiming for a streaked, watery effect or a solid block of colour? any chance of a pic? (nosy much??? rofl)
Phoenix, I do silk painting so I know how hard it is to control how much colour is absorbed into fabric...it can even inspire one to tears at times!
I <3 the NC mermaids - they are so great. Im not quite sure where, but on some forum I spied a whole row of framed mermaids, all from NC and I was totally inspired to copy that idea, it was SOOOO good! lol.

    Mum bought me an actual fabric dye, the ones in the little round container that you get from spothlight. and lets say, my light blue jeans didnt go well with dark blue dye...it wasn't bad for a first time dye! I dyed Adia, i prefer stitching on adia, I'd like to try linen though, haven't acutally tried it yet.
