Do I earn coins when people download a pattern I've uploaded?

I accidentally downloaded a pattern I uploaded and rightfully so my coins were deducted but I noticed I didn't receive any compensation. So I assume I don't get coins if someone downloads something I've uploaded?

As far as I know you get the amount of coins you charged when you uploaded it minus a small amount. I get 7 coins for a pattern I uploaded that costs 10 coins (there is a max amount you can charge per level)
