Solving your own bounty
Hi all,I had a quick question and couldn't find the answer.
What happens if you can solve your own bounty? Do you still get the points reward or not?
I had one pattern that I posted in bounty's but bought a few weeks later and posted. I needed the pattern for a gift, but I didn't get the coins. There was a thing the mod put as a note that said SBBO but I don't know what that means.
I'm not sure about the note, but I do remember solving my own bounty once, and I did get the coins (minus the forum tax). It's been a few years ago though, so I don't know how it is now. Edited by anniekins at 2024-9-10 17:40
If a bounty owner posts the pattern, the coins are always returned to the bounty owner.
There is no entry for the coins in your points log, however.
That makes sense, I'm not the OP, but thank you for the response, since I also might be doing that again at some point :D que magnifico!! Edited by anniekins at 2024-9-10 22:40
