How are you guys storing your knitted items?
Hey guys, I was wondering how you'll store your knitted items, especially the ones with 1 ply cause they seem to be so delicate! You can store them in different boxes according to their variety. You can prevent odor by leaving small lavender sachets next to them. good work <3 So far I've only made a scarf, which I gave to my dad. Not sure how I'll store anything yet. I keep yarn and projects in tote bags. I keep yarn and projects in boxes I keep both my yarn stash and knit items (when it's wool/animal fibers) in plastic airtight bins, with lavender sachets.I am terrified of moths :) divinooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo It depends on the material used. I haven't made anything with a single ply yarn, so I can't speak to that. I store my garments with nicer fibers folded up in my dresser. I'm considering getting cedar planks or something in case of moths lol. Any acrylic project from when I was a beginner doesn't matter, because acrylic is so robust you don't have to worry about it. I just have mine in those square type baskets that go inside a cubby cabinet in my bedroom. In no particular order or with anything special. I do like to roll up my scarves instead of folding them to help prevent fold lines on them but everything else I try to lie as flat as possible. Honestly, I should probably store them better but this works and they get used because they are very easy to grab out of the baskets. If I stored them away under the bed or whatever, I'm sure I'd never grab them! :) I only knit sweaters/pullovers and the chance to have two huge wardrobes...
