Bounty doubts

I am a new user (registered yesterday). I saw a bounty for 4599 coins and I had the pattern for it. I posted it and now the bounty value dropped to 1000 coins. Are users allowed to do this? Is there a way to track the bounty values over time? Thank you for your help

What you've described is impossible. Bounties never change value, as there really isn't a way to edit that part of a bounty thread, especially not when the thread was created over 24 hours ago. It is possible though that there are multiple bounties on the same pattern, and one is 4599 coins, the other is 1000 coins.
