The final part is all about the felt details.
To get the belly shape, felt an outline of where you want it to go first. Then you can shape out the edge of the belly after that. Felting is time consuming because it feels like you're stabbing forever but I think it looks a little neater than incorporating a million colour changes in the pattern.
Now, if you don't have wool roving, you can also just felt the yarn that you used. Cut strands of yarn and lay them in the shape of the belly and stab away with the felting needle. If you work the yarn enough, it'll give the same effect as wool. Same goes for the orb. Just ball up some blue yarn and stab, stab, stab.
