I don't see any pictures either. I will not, however, buy the pattern in pieces, it will eventually be put out in one pdf file. Rather expensive to buy it piece by piece with GC cost and 30 GC for each download. There are already a few updates so if you downloaded clue 1 I think you must download clue 1 revised to get it right. Why not just wait for the entire thing and then you can see if you like it. I usually like his patterns but there are some I'm not interested in.
