I feel very sorry for her!
I know what it means not to be able to stitch anymore.
Stitching is my life. If i can't stitch anymore,i will feel very lost.
Unfortunately i don't live in Manchester England.
I hope all her fabrics and flosses will go to a person who takes well care of it.
And i hope this person will make beautiful works with it.
For your friend i hope she will find something else what will give her a lot of satisfaction like stichting did.

There's a ravelry group "UK Classifieds". I'm sure someone there would be happy to pick it up (or help finding a charity to pick it up).
It's very sad, but when I can't knit any more I want my stuff to get love/use by someone else and not rot/waste in my house.

A very nice way to leave her hobby giving her issues to a person who can continue with them. A little sad but surely she would find another thing to do. Many kisses to her. Unfortunately I am not in England.
