I have used the FrayChek for years. I find that that particular glue leaves the fabric pliable and not stiff. Also, it is washable. I have tried other glues as well, but prefer the FrayChek. Fray-stop is great stuff. :3 I wonder if people apply it in different ways, though? I put a thick line of it on a sheet of wax paper (and tape the paper to the table ahead of time, so it doesn't move) and then dap the edge of my fabric in the glue a short span at a time. I always use FrayChek.I have used the FrayChek for years.I find that that particular glue leaves the fabric pliable and not stiff.Also, it is washable.I have tried other glues as well, but prefer the FrayChek.It also dries clear.Try it....think you might like it.

I make a sewed zigzag all around my work the way my machine does it is that it does 3 straight stitches in one way then 3 on the other way. I tried stitching the side by hand but my work would still fringe a lot then I tried a normal zigzag stitch but my work would still fray so I tried this stitch and it works great finally :)

I just zigzag it on my sewing machine - it hardly takes any time at all - I can do all 4 sides of a piece in less than 5 minutes, and get to use up the extra thread on my bobbins from whatever I was working on last that way too.
