I see lots on youtube using cute fabric project bags with zippers but they're made of cotton and make it hard to see what's inside the bag. It's not fancy but it's working for me. They're clear so you can see what the project is without opening it, they seal on the top and you can squeeze all the air out and make it flatter for storage, and they come in different sizes. I like having smaller projects in zip bags or in bag-like folders. For bigger projects that don't fit into A4 folder I put all the thread, etc into a bag and then keep it together with the project that stays on its frame/hoop.

That's exactly how I've been doing it. I used to be a one at a time stitcher until recently. I have 5 going right now and it's working for me to keep in gallon sized zip lock bags. I see lots on youtube using cute fabric project bags with zippers but they're made of cotton and make it hard to see what's inside the bag. It's not fancy but it's working for me.

They're clear so you can see what the project is without opening it, they seal on the top and you can squeeze all the air out and make it flatter for storage, and they come in different sizes.
