really? i just know now. every time my"orts" threw away in garbage place. I've never thought to collect them. It's a good idea to make a nest of bird from it.

I have an altoids tin in my stitching box that I leave open when I am sewing. When I snip a thread, I put the thread in there and the scissors down next to it. I started doing that so that I wouldn't have lots of little pieces of thread all over the place needing to be vacuumed up. Now I love the little 'nest' that is formed in the tin.
