please help me to translate this pattern or post a similiar pattern thank thank a lot
Good luck! Very nice ! cap fits in shortened rows. (In my case, the German method was used).
.
We collect 52 loops. (2 edge, 50 basic)
.
1st row. All loops are wrong.
2 row. 44 facial loops. Turn around !!!
3 row. 44 out.
4 row. 40 persons. We are turning around.
5 row. 40 out.
6 row. 36 persons. U-turn.
7 row. 36 out.
8 row. 32 persons. U-turn.
9 row. 32 out.
10 row. 28 persons. U-turn.
11 row. 28 out.
12 row. 52 loops knit front.
13 row. 8 loops out of 44 faces.
14 row. 44 out. U-turn.
15 row. 44 persons.
16 row. 40 out. U-turn.
17 row. 40 persons.
18 row. 36 out. U-turn.
19 row. 36 persons.
20 row. 32 out. U-turn.
21 row. 32 persons.
22 row. 28 out.
23 row. 28 persons.
24 row. 44 out., 8 persons.
25 row. = 1 row.
26 row. = 2 row.
And so on, by analogy.
The number of wedges must be even. I have them 10. We sew a hat in any way convenient for you. I made a chain stitch using a hook. Done!
.
Recommendations
1. The yarn should not be too thin, and the knitting needles should be thick. That is, knitting should not be too loose.
2. The WTO is best done before stitching.
3. By increasing the number of turns, the size of the cap around the circumference increases.
4. Increasing the total initial number of loops increases the length of the crown.
I completely agree with the recommendations.
But I want to note on my own that since the cap is knitted across, it gives tension.
This must be taken into account, and for a good fit in the calculations, we boldly subtract 2-3cm from the desired volume.
(That is, if we need to tie it to a volume of 50 cm, subtract 2 (3) cm - and we carry out the calculations by 48 (47) cm) I
also suggest that you immediately knit a hollow cord along the edge of the cap so that the cap fits snugly and does not fall off kids.
Yarn can be any, but not very thin. Knitting needles are not very thick (as mentioned above).
What else I note is that if the wedges are not too wide and not very high, then the hat looks even more interesting.
In order for the hat to sit well on the head, a sensible offer came from Margarita:
Knitted in a similar way a lot of "bean" lace viscous. If you allow a little comment from personal experience,
you can’t make out the bottom edge in any way, just carefully look at the hem, and so that the cap fits in the bottom (girth of the forehead and neck) I made one short row in each wedge, without tying 3-5 centimeters to the bottom edge.
And the caps sit well on the head, do not press and do not slip!
I will definitely use this advice.
a) We begin to knit everything with a sample, let's say 10 (20) p: 5 (10) p. persons., 5 (10p) out., in height 10 (20) rows.
We knit tight, not loose. We carry out the WTO.
This moment is very important, because the threads behave differently, and here also knitting across.
b) After completing paragraph "a)" we make calculations for our volume and height of the cap.
I already tied a couple of probes before, the first to understand how this hat fits.
