Washing

I’ve never washed my fabric. It’s protected while I work on it mostly. Is there a need to do it?

I usually wash it even though it doesn't look like it needs it. The natural oils and moisture in your skin does transfer. I use a baby laundry soap and hand wash. If there is a lot of wrinkles I use wrinkle release and an iron and it turns out very well.

I wash my finished stitching as well, and iron it on the back side.

It definitely won't hurt. There's gunk on the fabric even if you can't see it.

I always wash and iron it.
