Learning Brioche
Edited by anniekins at 2018-6-2 09:04Here's an update on the scarf I am knitting to learn Brioche:
I don't know if you can see my lifeline, but it was very necessary. I won't do brioche without it in the future, it's just too hard to figure out where I was when I have to rip it out.
I got the pattern from ravelry called the Brioche Basix Scarf by Susanne Sommer
I opted to keep knitting the x over and over instead of going straight like the pattern tells you to. I just did a regular group of 2 more rows (dark and light) after row 26, and started back at row 1 of the X instructions again. oh! fabulous work! i used the same pattern to get to know brioche (it was so beautiful but scary, lol) i'm so glad i found this pattern, i am now not afraid of stephen west's patterns (= Fabulous pattern!I can understand the need for a life line and such a time saver if you need to take it back.
