Prairie Schooler Angels - triptych finish
My first Christmas finish of 2017 - The Prairie Schooler Angels.Stitched on black aida using DMC threads and Coats Reflecta metallics. Each stitched piece is separate, mounted with batting onto foam card, backing also batting and foam card and covered in black linen.Black ribbon forms the hinges.Flat gold ribbon is glued around each angel.
Very nice finishing!Clever idea to hinge them together with the ribbon.I love Prairie Schooler patterns.I hadn't thought to do these but after seeing yours I might need to rethink that! very nice
