Renaissance Bookmark - Teresa Wentzler
I bought some very nice books, and decided to make something nice to use while reading them. Also I wanted to stitch something small for a change :D So i did this bookmark. I love how it changes after the backstitch is added! Just compare the first two photos:And this is how the actual bookmark turned out. Not the best, IMO, but it will do. I did make some minor mistakes, but I treat them as signs of individuality )) Also, it's better to do Teresa's designs on linen - I worked on eavenweave, and it constantly wanted to ravel out because of many quarter-stitches. This design is hard to work with, but highly rewarding and fascinating.
