Dimensions - Majestic Peacock
Edited by imuni55 at 2015-7-3 02:59This was my second Dim, and after this one I decided that I'm never coming back to Dim designs again. Yes, I love them, yes, they're wonderful, but 5 strands over 16-18 fabric are just taking away all the joy from the process. And I'm never satisfied with the finished product.
Why aren't you satisfied with the finished product? It's marvelous! I hope you reconsider your feelings toward Dimensions Golds because they are designed very well, and even though not easily stitched, they produce very beautiful finishes! I adore Dimensions designs, and Majestic Peacock is one of my favorites. I have this kit in my stash waiting for its time to be stitched. Thankyouverymuchforsharingthisgreatpattern It is very beautiful but I wouldn't like to stitch with that many strands of cottons. Many thanks. Superrrr, I love your work also, and Dimesions of course.

I, too, don't have it anymore :D Technically I could, but it's supposed to create "volume" - thicker/airier places, like trees/skies/water, and near/far, i.e. the farther the place - the thinner are the threads. So I think that the work would have lost part of its charm Lovely work!
