Knabbelkatje Publish time 2017-4-9 00:03

I do tent stitching on 28 count I didnt like the bulkyness of the full cross. But you van always tryout and do what you like the most. I do that to and than choose the one I like the most.

What is a tent stitch?

Slige Publish time 2015-5-15 08:58

tent stitch is the same as half cross stitch on the front of the material, a little different on the back

...if its the same on the front of the work then what is really the difference? How the back looks when completed? I think most do it just to cut the stitching time down. If it is on 25 or 28 count and you use 2 strands you get full coverage with just the half cross.

it depends on the tolerance. I even do not like tent with 28ct. 32ct is fine, but too tight to stitch

Slige Publish time 2015-6-26 07:08

good points - coverage/tension/tolerance
thanks
