french knot pulling through
I was needing help for cross stitch. French knots end up pulling through all the time Do Colonial knots instead. Google "colonial knot video" and you'll come up with some sites with videos that show you how to do a Colonial knot. They are much easier to do and look much nicer than French knots. Thank you for the information! I hate making French knots and usually just substitute seed beads, but I will definitely check out the colonial knot. Thanks again! I just have to try this instead of a French knot - it looks almost foolproof (which French knots definitely aren't) :) Some instructions will tell you to poke the needle and thread back down through the same hole you brought it up through when starting the knot - you'll want to go back down through a different spot from the one you came up, or else the knot will pull through to the back.static/image/common/user_online.gif HannaSolo static/image/common/clock.gif 2014-7-20 00:55 static/image/common/back.gif
