Struggling to complete
I just wanted to share the two cross stitch patterns that have ran my stitchy bug dry!Did anyone ever complete these two, how long did it take? I actually have all 4 in circulation but simply cannot get them done!
Spring
Summer
Sometimes they get tired from embroidery and it does not bring joy. In my experience it is best to take a break. Start another job, a small and interesting. Very beautiful! Thankyouforsharing. Lavori davvero impegnativi ma molto belli... in bocca al lupo per il proseguimento! very nice ! Thankyouforsharing ! very nice ! Thankyouforsharing ! Замечательно! Конечно, нужно продолжать! Терпения Вам! Very nice! Very nice! Thank you for sharing! Precioso trabajo !! :loveliness Preciosa labor, enhorabuena!! Very nice ! :) Ooh, they are lovely. Are you rotating them? You could try one week on one, next week the next and so on.I find if you rotate through out the week, you get too many project piles lying around.
Or you could rotate with a new project, start one, and take the one that is most finished and rotate it, giving yourself a timeline to finish! I always try and set a goal to meet.
Or finish one per every three months of the new year and work on it alone, keeping yourself on task, once two are done, rotate it with something new.By then it will be June 2014 with two finishes and two to go. :D very nice:):) Lovely work. I've found that rotation helps move things along, but when I get to a certain point I focus on the one closest to being done. These have lots of different elements, but they are doable. I'd say about 2 months per each or 1 month if stitching every day. Then again, I've been told I stitch fast. I say I concentrate. You'll get them done. Don't fret about it, just stitch. grazie 1000 My schedule has been to rotate them each month, I find that it takes me about an hour to get them in my setup and I would rather use that hour stitching.
I get roughly 8-10 hours of stitching in per month. YES MONTH. So these are just draggggggggggggin. I started them a year ago and, well my rate is so slow.
Where do you ladies find/make time to stitch? :o WoW what as amazing undertaking! I haven't stitched them so can't help with the time it should take, but I am also a slow stitcher. I make fun of myself for being so slow ;P they are so beautiful don't give up. I always have smaller things going on it I am stitching something large. you don't want to be 'forcing' yourself to stitch. when you don't feel like working on it just put it aside and I promise the want to finish will come back around :) my UFO pile gets bigger and smaller all the time :) and if you need encouragement just show us a picture and we will help you feel like stitching ;P good luck and always happy stitching I stitch in the evenings and evenings only and with working I find my time has dropped, but I do take advantage of my weekend time to stitch as much as I can usually manage about 6 hours a weekend giving myself Friday and Saturday nights while watching TV......... more like listening to the TV rather than watching!:) Very nice thanks for sharing
